A local businessman bought Dearborn's iconic Miller's Bar, which is best known for their famous cheeseburgers served on wax paper.

DEARBORN, MI — A local businessman officially bought Dearborn's iconic Miller's Bar, which is best known for their famous cheeseburgers served on wax paper.
Dearborn native and businessman Allie T. Mallad said he plans to carry on the bar's "amazing legacy" that customers have come to know.
"We are privileged and honored to have the opportunity to continue the traditions of Miller’s Bar and the profound impact that Miller’s has had on the community. Everyone can expect to enjoy the same atmosphere and the same exact traditions that the Miller family created, I will continue that amazing legacy," Mallad said.

The bar was listed for sale in October 2021, when the owners decided they were planning to retire. The bar has been serving its famous burgers since 1941.
