Dearborn Nightclub Shooters Sentenced On Multiple Felonies
A pair of men shot into a crowd at NarBar last September and have recently been sentenced

DEARBORN, MI — A pair of Ypsilanti men have been sentenced in connection with a shooting Michigan Avenue shooting incident last fall. Allante Percy and Mario Amison will spend years in prison for shooting into a crowd of people at NarBar on Sept. 16, 2016, Dearborn Police said in a statement.
Several victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a local hospital for treatment as a result of the shooting. They were later released. Police arrested the Ypsilanti men shortly after the shooting after a foot-chase in the area of Michigan Avenue and Gulley Road.
On Feb. 22, Percy accepted a plea agreement and was sentenced to a mandatory two years in prison for Felony Firearm, to run consecutively with 10-30 years in prison for two counts of Assault With Intent To Murder, Dearborn Police said.

Amison was found guilty and sentenced to a mandatory five years in prison for Felony Firearm 2nd Offense, to run consecutively with five years for Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Amison will also have to answer to his parole violation in addition to these charges, police said.
“Crimes of this nature destroy people’s sense of safety and security and will not be tolerated,” said Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad “I am grateful that the victims have recovered from their injuries. The outcome of this incident could have been much worse.”
