Dearborn Offers Swimming Pool Vouchers For Groups, Businesses
Vouchers can be purchased at any of the three pools open this summer.
DEARBORN, MI — Dearborn has launched a "Resident Day Pass Vouchers" program, allowing neighborhood groups, service clubs and businesses to purchase vouchers for use of the city's three outdoor public pools.
Vouchers can be purchased at any of the three pools open this summer — Ford Woods, Ten Eyck and Lapeer. The cost of each voucher is equivalent to the pool entry fee for Dearborn residents — $5 for Ford Woods, and $3 for Ten Eyck and Lapeer.
Residents who present a day pass voucher when entering a pool will not have to pay an admission fee, the city said. Vouchers are also accepted from residents who wish to leave and re-enter the pool on the same day.

In order to make Dearborn's outdoor pools safe, guests are required to follow safety regulations to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the city said. In adherence with guidelines set by the Wayne County Health Department, pools will be supervised to ensure that capacity does not exceed 50 percent. Masks must be worn by everyone who enters or exits an outdoor pool complex. Masks are not required when swimming, but 6 foot social-distancing rules must be followed at all times.
Temperature checks are taken at Ford Woods before entry to the indoor bathhouse is allowed.
