Dearborn Police Department Swears In New Officers And Recognizes Those Receiving Promotions

Chief Ronald Haddad and Mayor John B. O'Reilly, Jr. swore in the new officers and recognized officers receiving promotions.

DEARBORN, MI — There are a few new faces in the Dearborn Police Department, according to a press release. The Dearborn Police Department swore in new officers and marked promotions of other officers in a Dec. 19 ceremony at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center with Chief Ronald Haddad and Mayor John B. O’Reilly, Jr.

Among those rising ranks are: Ron Beggs to commander, Andrew Zelazny and Timothy McHale to lieutenant, and Sergio Popescu, David Finazzo and Edward Doulette to sergeant. New officers are: Majida Beattie, Kayla Barker and Mariam Hoballah. The department also welcomed new chaplains from various religious backgrounds.
