Dearborn Police Searching For Donation Box Thief
A donation box was recently stolen from a Schaefer Road business. Police need help finding the suspect.

DEARBORN, MI — Dearborn Police are investigating the recent theft of a donation box from a Schaefer Road business. On April 8 at approximately 10 p.m., police said a black female entered the business and then took the box while nobody was looking. The woman then fled on foot.
“This case is particularly disturbing because people in need have been cheated by this subject,” Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad said. The business is located in the 6900 block of Schaefer Road. Police said the donation box was sitting on a counter when it was stolen.
The amount of money stolen from the donation box is unknown. The Dearborn Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the woman. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 313-943-2241.
