Dearborn Police Seek Help Identifying Suspect(s) in January Shooting
Late-night shooting incident occurred in the area of Lowrey and Akron streets.

DEARBORN, MI — On Jan. 15, the Dearborn Police responded to the area of Lowrey Street and Akron Street on a report of shots fired. Neighbors reported hearing gunshots in the area at about 2:50 a.m., but no evidence was found by responding officers.
Once daylight arrived, officers discovered a vehicle which had been struck by multiple gunshots. The suspect(s) shot multiple rounds into the victim’s vehicle with a small caliber handgun. It is believed that the vehicle involved is a Saturn Aura.
Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad stated, “Our number one priority is citizen safety,” Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad said in a statement. “When that is jeopardized, we will do everything in our power to ensure the perpetrator is brought to justice. I am urging the public to come forward and provide information regarding the suspect(s) in this incident.”
