DEARBORN, MI β€” Dearborn Public Schools has hired a firm to conduct a long-range study of future facility uses and needs.

Fielding International was hired by school officials to help upgrade the district's buildings, including physical infrastructure needs, such as roofs, electrical, security, HVAC systems as well as others. The firm will also help the district with its strategic plan and issue a 30-year recommendation on infrastructure planning.

The firm has already begun evaluating the district's 37 buildings and started talking with selected stakeholders, school officials said. The group will submit a final report to the Board of Education in March 2023.
