Gaedke Continues to Make Her Points for Edsel Ford

Edsel Ford star scores 54 points in girls basketball team's victory over Livonia Stevenson last week.

Marie Gaedke of the girls basketball team scored plenty of points for the Thunderbirds last season, and she has continued her high-scoring ways at the start of this season.

Gaedke scored 31 points in a game last season, but she already has surpassed that total after recording 54 points in a victory over Livonia Stevenson last week, according to the Detroit Free Press.

"I honestly didn't realize I had been scoring that much," Gaedke told Mick McCabe of the Free Press. "I was just playing. I knew I was playing good."
