Ms Blankinship is a gifted teacher. She is constantly innovating her instruction based on up to date curriculum and keeps up with new methods and district standards. Ms Blankinship adapts her approach to meet the many student levels in each section and finds ways to relate math to the current world experience.

She has recently finished her tenure as Robotics Sponsor of more than ten years. She has attended football games, volleyball plays/musicals and concerts displaying her involvement in student life.

She is not only concerned with math. Ms Blankinship imbues manners and courtesy in the course of her day with many students who learn English as a second or third language. She has a great sense of humor as which can keep her classroom atmosphere light.
