Halal Pizza Lawsuit Dropped After Lawyer Receives Racist Threats

After Receiving Racial Threats; A Dearborn Attorney Has Dropped Lawsuits Filed Against Little Caesars

DEARBORN, MI- Arab-American attorney Majed Moughni from Dearborn has dropped his lawsuit against Little Caesars, after receiving racists threats directed towards him and his daughter through social media.

Moughni had filed the suits earlier this year, at the beginning of Ramadan when he alleged that Little Caesar's had been falsely advertising the selling of halal pepperoni pizza's to it's Muslim consumers.

Moughni had decided to drop the two remaining law suits after he had received threats from a man on Facebook through their instant messenger service, Oct 26. The messages had stated that "You better stop your lawsuit against Little Caesars you..." which was then followed up by expletive racial slurs.

The man who had sent the messages through Facebook had also posted to his Twitter account, which included photos of Moughni and his family, the user posted the information of Moughni's wife linking to her Facebook page, as well as a photo of Moughni with his daughter, and went on to link to her Facebook page, and released information about where his daughter attended school.

Moughni had gone on to inform the police, and filed motions to drop the lawsuit.
