Historic Ship Restored as Luxury Yacht
The SS Delphine was built in Michigan in 1921 and is on the market for approximately $22.4 million.
The SS Delphine has seen a lot.
It has crashed, burned and sank, but after a six-year restoration project, it is back in its original form, according to MLive Detroit.
It was built in 1921 for Horace Dodge, co-owner of Dodge Brothers Motor Company, in the Downriver town of River Rouge, and eventually served as a U.S. Navy vessel during WWII.

According to the listing, “Delphine is the largest steam yacht built in the U.S. in the 1920s that is still in existence today.”
The listing also says that the restoration recreated the look and feel of the roaring ‘20s while still equipped with the latest amenities and communication facilities.

The 257-foot ship can host up to 150 guests and can sleep 26 in nine double staterooms, two king-sized VIP suites and a cabin with four bunks.
Guests can choose their relaxation method with a swimming pool with jet streams, massage bath, Turkish bath, sauna, fitness room and hair salon.
