Suspect Shoots Ex-Girlfriend, Man At Wayne County Home: Police

Police said a man and a woman were shot by the woman's ex-boyfriend.

DEARBORN HEIGHTS, MI — A man has been arrested in connection with a double shooting Wednesday in Dearborn Heights, according to police.

The shooting happened at 10:30 a.m. at a home in the 4100 block of Weddell Street, in the area of Pelham and Outer Drive, police said.

Police said a man and a woman were shot by the woman's ex-boyfriend. The shooter then fled the scene in a white Ford F-150 and police considered him armed and dangerous.

He was arrested in connection with the shooting a few hours later in the area of Plymouth and Heydan streets in Detroit, according to a Fox 2 Detroit report.

Police did not provide any details about the condition of the man and woman who were shot and injured in the shooting.
