Mother's Day Tea on the campus of the Oakwood Common senior community in Dearborn is an annual favorite among residents.

DEARBORN, MI — Mother’s Day Tea on the campus of the Oakwood Common senior community in Dearborn is an annual favorite among residents, guests and staff. “It’s always a festive occasion honoring mothers, grandmothers, aunts and other special ladies on our campus,” said Donna Brandt, sales manager for Oakwood Common.

It is tradition for wait staff to dress in Victorian period costumes, serving a
delicious assortment of petit fours, finger sandwiches, scones and specialty teas at tables decorated with fine china, fresh floral bouquets, and long stemmed roses for each guest.

Oakwood Common, a Beaumont community, offers one and two bedroom apartments located at 16351 Rotunda Drive, within a beautiful 29-acre retirement community that includes exquisite landscaping, nature trails and scenic views along the historic Rouge River Gateway in Dearborn. Oakwood Common apartments offer exceptional amenities for independent living and can be readily customized.
