'Paranormal Tales' Event Benefits Dearborn Historical Museum
Author Karen Dale Stefaniak Trask will speak at the McFadden-Ross House in Dearborn on Saturday.

Encounters with the Paranormal, a fundraiser for the Dearborn Historical Museum, takes place from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 12 at the McFadden-Ross House, 915 Brady St.
Tickets for the event are $5.
Author Karen Dale Stefaniak Trask will share her ghostly encounters — both personal and fictional — experienced through the characters in her novels.

Trask, who now lives in Arizona, will share what propelled her to write paranormal suspense novels and how a paranormal investigative team helped send her on her creative path.
The author says she discovered her special gifts during an other-worldly encounter with a woman in a long white dress holding a parasol in her Roosevelt Street house in Dearborn.
