Dearborn Police Briefs: Redbox Smashed, Gasoline, Tires Stolen

Redbox Smashed Outside Walgreens:
-A Redbox video rental machine was smashed outside the Walgreens at 15450 Michigan Ave.According to a Redbox employee, an unknown suspect shattered the screen display between Jan. 6 and Jan. 7. The machine was worth $700.
There were no cameras on the machine or outside the building where it was located.
Woman Steals Gas from Exxon Station:
-An unknown woman left the Exxon Gas station without paying for her gas around 7:45 p.m. on Jan. 4, police reported.The woman was driving a mid 2000 blue Honda Accord, according to the gas station attendant. She allegedly stole $23.27 worth of gas.
The attendant of the station, located at 14545 Ford Rd., was unable to give anymore information about the suspect.
Semi Truck Tires Stolen from EnviroSolids:
-An employee at EnviroSolids, located at 6011 Wyoming, witnessed an unknown man loading semi truck tires from an unsecured maintenance garage on the premises into the bed of his green Chevrolet pick up truck, around 7:30 a.m. on Jan. 5.The door to the garage did not have the ability to lock, and the main gate to enter the business was also open at the time, police reported.
The man quickly fled the scene with the employee confronted him. He allegedly stole five semi truck tires, worth $400 each.
The suspect was a black male, approximately 6'2", wearing a gray or white sweatshirt, according to the employee.
Police searched the surrounding area for a man with the suspect's description, but were unable to find a match.Â
