I'm Jessica Strachan, your local editor. Iβm a Detroit-based writer, University of Michigan-Dearborn alumni, globe trotter and dog mom to the sweetest rescue beagle named Virginia Woof (yes, a writer pun). Iβve grown up around metro Detroit and love our sprawling metropolis of different city centers. Dearborn is one of my favorite places to grab coffee, meet up with friends, stroll through one of its two downtowns or grab a delicious variety of foods.
Iβve been at Dearborn Patch now for six months and the best is yet to come. For now, Iβm hoping youβll send me your tips, ideas and questions at jessica.strachan@patch.com. Letβs start a conversation.
