When is Opening Day of the Dearborn Farmers Market?
The annual farmers market has added a wine tasting tent and a few new vendors this year.

DEARBORN, MI – We’re getting close to that time of the year again.
Opening day for the Dearborn Farmers Market is May 20 and it will run all the way through Oct. 7, with the exception of July 1.
The market runs on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is located behind the Historic Bryant Library right off of Michigan Ave.

Each week, patrons can look forward to a variety of farm products and goods such as flowers, produce, cheeses, meats, soaps, woodworking, pottery and much more.
New this year is the “Wine at the Market” tent, where people can sample different products from local Michigan wineries.

In addition to the goods, patrons can enjoy the many activities provided like cooking demonstrations, live entertainment, food trucks, gardening workshops, ice carving demonstrations and fitness sessions.

The market will have more than 50 vendors present throughout the season and some of the weekly attendees will be Detroit Mini Donut, Divine Crystal, Humor Me, Lincoln Street Soap, Pooky The Clown and Seven Spatulas to name a few.
As always, children are welcome and can have a blast in the kid’s tent with art lessons, games, face painting and nutritional information.
