3 Hurt In Shooting At Detroit Restaurant After Employee Mishandles Gun: Police
Police said three injuries were non-life-threatening, though one person was taken to a nearby hospital.
DETROIT — Three people were injured in a shooting at a Detroit restaurant Wednesday after an employee mishandled a gun, police said.
The shooting happened around 1 p.m. Wednesday at Al’s Fresh Fish and Chicken near Eastern Market in Detroit, according to Fox 2 Detroit.
Investigators believe the employee found the gun on the floor of the business. Somehow, the employee mishandled the gun and fired a shot, which struck him and two customers.

"He shot himself in his hand. That bullet went through the hand, through the doorway, and struck two other customers that were inside," Detroit Police Assistant Chief Charles Fitzgerald told reporters at the scene. "Craziest, silliest thing I've seen in quite some time."
