6 Teens, 1 Adult Arrested After Stolen Car Stopped In Detroit: Police
Michigan State Police troopers and Detroit police pulled over an SUV that police said had a damaged ignition and was reported stolen.

DETROIT — Seven people, all between the ages of 14 and 20, were arrested on Sunday night after Michigan State Police troopers made a traffic stop on a vehicle in Detroit that had been reported stolen earlier in the day.
Police said the Hyundai SUV was pulled over by troopers just before 9 p.m. on the Southfield Freeway near West Chicago Street, police said. Police began tracking the vehicle on westbound I-94 near Linwood Street and ran the plates of the vehicle and found that it had been reported stolen.
The trooper did not activate its lights until more troopers and officers from the Detroit Police Department arrived to assist with the traffic stop, police said. After the vehicle was pulled over, police boxed in the SUV and several people inside the vehicle got out and fled, police said.
