60 MPH Winds, Flooding Possible Monday Across Detroit Area
There is a marginal risk (Level 1 out of 5) for severe weather Monday across all of Southeast Michigan.
SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN — Showers and thunderstorms are likely across southeastern Michigan on Monday amid warm and humid conditions, according to the National Weather Service.
The storms will move through the region between 1 and 7 p.m. when highs reach the upper 80s and feels like the 90s with the heat index, the weather service said.
Forecasters said the main threats will be strong winds reaching 60 miles per hour and flooding due to heavy downpours.

The storms will move out of the region by the nighttime hours Monday and a more seasonal stretch of weather moves in through the end of the week, the weather service said.
