DDOT Bus Service Stops Friday Over Labor Dispute
The Detroit Department of Transportation is currently undergoing a driver work stoppage due to a labor dispute.
DETROIT, MI — The Detroit Department of Transportation is currently undergoing a driver work stoppage due to a labor dispute, the city said Friday morning. There is currently no running bus service.
DDOT said in a statement that it apologizes for the inconvenience to those relying on DDOT for transportation, adding that that it is working with union representatives to get buses back on the road as soon as possible.
