Dogs Rescued From Abandoned Garage In Detroit

According to reports, the abandoned garage was being used as a breeding facility and dogs were found chained from the ceiling.

DETROIT, MI — Detroit authorities rescued several dogs that were reportedly living in horrible conditions inside of an abandoned garage, including being chained from the ceiling so they couldn’t sit or lie down.

Detroit police and animal control officials rescued the dogs from the abandoned garage on Bulwer Street near Martin Street in Southwest Detroit and said they were “in bad shape” WDIV reported.

Detroit recently conducted a drug raid at the home, the report said, adding that squatters were arrested inside the home.
