METRO DETROIT, MI — Thousands of Metro Detroiters are without power Thursday morning as morning storms passed through the area. As of 10 a.m., DTE Energy told Patch that approximately 20,000 customers remained without power.

The DTE outage map shows most of the outages are in Monroe County.

“The most important thing is customers stay away from downed power lines and assume all wires are live,” DTE representatives said.
