Farbman Partners With Local Nonprofit Soul Studio For New HQ Mural
Soul Studio connects local businesses to special needs adult artists that create inspiring murals
Farbman Group, a Midwest full-service commercial real estate company, partnered with Soul Studio, an art program and gallery by local nonprofit Friendship Circle, to commission a large mural in its new headquarters in Bloomfield Hills.
“We are thrilled to partner with our third talented Soul Studio artist to commission a mural for our brand-new headquarters,” said Andy V. Farbman, CEO of Farbman Group. “This artwork was crafted by a local artist through a charity we are passionate about, which makes this piece heartfelt and very personal. The mural really brightens up the office for our employees and visitors alike.”
Farbman Group partnered with West Bloomfield-based Soul Studio, which provides adults 18+ with special needs a safe space to create and connect through art. The firm commissioned the mural “Detroit Skyline” by local artist Dana Ciaramitaro to brighten up their office space with color and joy.

“Our mission is to nourish an inclusive environment that supports artistic expression, vocational training, and employment opportunities to adults with special needs,” said Caitlin Cartwright, community partnership coordinator at Soul Studio. “Connecting businesses like Farbman Group with gifted artists such as Dana Ciaramitaro provides an opportunity to share our member’s artwork with a broader audience and generate an authentic connection to our local community.”
The mural is one of four commissioned projects by Farbman Group from Soul Studio over the last few years. The first project resides in Oakland Commons in Southfield, the second resides in the Bingham Office Center in Bingham Farms, and the third mural is located at the firm’s 100 N. La Salle building in downtown Chicago.
