Faygo Launches 2 New Flavors To Its Iconic Line Of Detroit Pops
One pop focuses on a well-known Michigan ice cream flavor while the other takes its inspriation from candy shops.

DETROIT — Detroit favorite Faygo announced on Friday two new flavors to its iconic line of pops.
The new flavors include the Faygo Super Pop, which takes its name from an iconic Michigan-flavor ice cream, and the Faygo Bubble Pop, a sweet tribute to the classic candy shop treat.
"This is one of the biggest launches in Faygo’s 118-year history," Executive VicePresident of Faygo Beverages Dan Trpevski said. "We’re proud to introduce these all-new unique flavors, Super Pop and Bubble Pop!, to our lineup of over 50 iconic Faygo varieties."

The blue Super Pop pays tribute to a beloved Michigan ice cream flavor (Superman) that traces back to the 1920s. Its "vibrant" and "fruity taste" will remind fans of carefree summer days during their childhood, the company says.
The light pink Bubble Pop, on the other hand, offers a classic bubble gum flavor with hints of vanilla and subtle fruit. The pop will offer the "ultimate taste of nostalgia," as it captures memories of a day at the ballpark or on the playground, the company says.

Both pops are available in 20 and 24-ounce bottles at Meijer stores across Michigan and will be available at more stores soon, according to the company.
Both flavors will also be featured at the “Immersive World of Faygo” House of Faygo pop-up experience at Bedrock’s, 1001 Woodward Avenue in Detroit from April 4 to April 6. It is free and open to the public.
"Consumers would be surprised by the amount of work that is involved in bringing a new Faygo pop flavor to life. From inception to endless testing, to hitting store shelves – it takes a lot of tasting and teamwork," Trpevski added. "These new flavors have been a passion project for our team, and we’re excited to feature them at a unique and fun event."
