First Detroit Area Sheetz Gets Opening Date
The 24/7 convenience store is best known for its made-to-order items, including breakfast, sandwiches, milkshakes and more.

ROMULUS, MI — Sheetz, a popular mid-Atlantic restaurant and gas station chain, announced a grand opening date for its first Michigan store.
The store, located at 33380 Wick Rd. in Romulus, will officially open its doors Aug. 27 at 8 a.m.
There will also be giveaways, including Z Cards up to $2,500 to celebrate the grand opening. The company will also donate $5,000 to the Forgotten Harvest and Special Olympics of Michigan.

The company is also looking to expand in the Detroit area with four new locations, including Macomb, Warren and two in Taylor.
The company also previously announced other locations at Middlebelt Road and Interstate 94 in Romulus and 23 Mile Road and Interstate 94 in Chesterfield Township.

The new store will offer its award-winning Made-to-Order menu, which allows local residents, or "Sheetz Freakz" to order any of Sheetz’s customized drinks or food items around the clock.
Sheetz operates 669 store locations across six states including Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and Maryland. All Sheetz locations are open 24/7, 365 days a year.
