Free Entrepreneur Meet And Greet Held April 27

Aspiring business owners and successful entrepreneurs will want to mark their calendars for this local event taking place.

METRO DETROIT, MI —Are you a business person or budding entrepreneur looking to make some connections?

LaunchDETROIT is inviting area entrepreneurs to attend a free Entrepreneur Meet and Greet to hear first-hand the experiences and successes of entrepreneurs locally.

The event is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2019. It will be held in the Ray Mix Room of the Heinz C. Prechter Educational and Performing Arts Center (EPAC) at the WCCCD Downriver campus, located at 21000 Northline Road in Taylor.

“We will have graduates of our program as well as current entrepreneurs available to talk about their businesses, which include a wide variety of products and services,” said Margaret Williamson, chair of LaunchDETROIT. “There will also be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and learn how they can participate. For individuals who already have a business or want to pursue a business idea, this is an excellent opportunity to meet with other entrepreneurs.”

Founded in 2012, LaunchDETROIT is powered by Rotary volunteers from District 6400. The program has enabled dozens of entrepreneurs to receive free business training, micro loans of up to $2,500, access to business mentors and networking opportunities.
