Harbaugh Spars With FSU Coach On Twitter

University of Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh and a Florida State assistant are trading jabs on Twitter. See what the fuss is about.

Say what you will about University of Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh, but there’s never a dull moment. If he’s not guiding the Wolverines to victory on the field, he is usually making headlines of some sort. Thursday is no exception.

It seems the Maize and Blue Jedi Master is in a war of words with Florida State assistant coach Tim Brewster over last week’s NFL Draft. Michigan led the nation with 11 players drafted while Florida State had four — none in the first round, however.

Brewster took to Twitter after the Draft: “Most draft picks doesn't correlate to winning....Just ask Michigan!” His Seminoles edged the Wolverines 33-32 in the Orange Bowl on December 30.

Coach Jim and the gang were in Rome when Brewster took his swipe. But Harbaugh jumped on TwitterWednesday to respond:

Of course, it didn’t end there. Brewster sharpened their light saber and flashed a little hardware on Wednesday night on Twitter.

Will that be the end of it? Not likely. Unfortunately, the two schools won’t get a chance to settle it on the football field during the 2017 season. Michigan does open with a game against the University of Florida on Sept. 2, so that may have to suffice as potential revenge for Harbaugh.
