Harris In Detroit For Radio Town Hall Tuesday: Here's How To Listen

In addition to discussing the election, Harris will answer questions from voters across the country, including Michigan.

DETROIT — Democratic presidential candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris is in Detroit Tuesday for a radio town hall with host Charlamagne Tha God.

"We the People: An Audio Townhall with Kamala Harris and Charlamagne Tha God" will take place on Charlamagne Tha God's popular radio and podcast show, "The Breakfast Club" at 5 p.m.

The hour-long town hall-style event will air on iHeartRadio, a streaming audio network available for free on several platforms.

"I want local voices from Detroit and voices from all the battleground states to get the opportunity to ask Vice President Kamala Harris some questions," Charlamagne Tha God said. "I know we've got some pressing issues to talk about. The future of the nation is decided by who we elect."

Listeners can submit their questions to Harris by using the Talk Back function on the iHeartRadio app. Listeners can click the microphone icon on their favorite iHeartRadio station, record their question and hit "send."

The interview is the first of many campaign events Harris has planned for Michigan this week. She is planning to visit Grand Rapids, Lansing and an Oakland County location on Friday, before coming back to Detroit on Saturday, which is the first day of early voting in the city.

Former President Donald Trump will also hold campaign events this week on Friday in Oakland County and Detroit, according to campaign officials.
