11K In Detroit Area Without Power Due To High Winds, Scattered Storms

METRO DETROIT — More than 11,000 DTE Energy customers in metro Detroit were without power Tuesday afternoon due to high winds and scattered storms.

The utility's outage map showed most of the outages were in the Rochester Hills area and Macomb County. There were also outages in the Livonia and Northville areas.

Officials said DTE crews are working hard to quickly restore power to impacted customers.
