Little Caesars Arena will be home for the Detroit Red Wings and the Detroit Pistons, replacing the Joe Louis Arena and Palace of Auburn Hills. The Wings and Pistons will not be the lone sporting events at the arena, however.

The arena will host the 2020 Division I men's hockey Frozen Four. The NCAA also recently announced that LCA will host first- and second-round games of the 2021 Division I men's basketball tournament and the 2022 Division I wrestling championships.
