Man Killed In Shooting With Wayne State University Officer
A Wayne State University officer reportedly shot and killed a man firing random shots from a bicycle, according to reports.
DETROIT, MI — A man has been killed following a shootout on Wayne State University’s campus, according to reports. The man has not been identified, but reports say he was firing his gun randomly on campus from a bike Wednesday night when an officer confronted him.
WDIV reported it was outside Detroit Rescue Mission and the WSU officer returned fire, killing the man. The officer was uninjured in the incident. He has been with the department for four years, WDIV reported.
Police are investigating.
