Metro Detroit Fourth Of July Forecast

Heat and humidity rise through the weekend with storm chances.

SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN — There is a slight chance for thunderstorms across southeastern Michigan Thursday before a warm and sunny Fourth of July, according to the National Weather Service.

Highs will climb toward 90 degrees with higher humidity levels, but forecasters do not expect any rain. Temperatures will be closer to 80 degrees at night.

The weekend will be hot and humid with highs climbing into the 90s. There will be a chance for thunderstorms Sunday night before temperatures fall back down into the 80s on Monday.
