Michigan Adds 11,511 New Coronavirus Cases, 65 Deaths
Since Saturday, the state has reported over 11,000 new coronavirus cases.
MICHIGAN — Since Saturday, Michigan has reported over 11,000 new cases of the coronavirus and over 60 more deaths, the state said Monday.
The official numbers — 11,511 new COVID-19 cases and 65 new deaths — bring Michigan's coronavirus totals to 314,216 confirmed cases and 8,543 deaths.
Michigan surpassed 300,000 coronavirus cases over the weekend when it reported over 7,000 new cases Saturday. Also on Saturday, the state said that over 152,000 Michiganders had recovered from the virus.

Michigan is 11th in the U.S. in reported COVID-19 cases, according to the World Health Organization. The state is ranked in the Top 10 in the nation in COVID-19 deaths.

Over 59.3 million cases of the coronavirus have been reported worldwide, according to the World Health Organization. Nearly 1.4 million COVID-19 deaths have been reported worldwide, while more than 41 million COVID recoveries have also been recovered.
