Michigan Panthers Relocating To Another City: Report
The news comes just over a month after the Panthers lost 58-34 to the DC Defenders in the 2025 UFL Championship game.

MICHIGAN — The Michigan Panthers are among four United Football League (UFL) teams that are slated for relocation, according to James Larsen of PFNewsroom.
It's unclear where the Panthers will be moving to, but Larsen notes the league is looking at new markets in Florida (likely Orlando), Boise, Columbus and Kentucky (Louisville/Lexington).
Although the Panthers saw growth in attendance, including 16,000 fans for the regular season finale, Larsen noted it's too expensive to keep the team in the Detroit market, specifically Ford Field.

The Panthers returned to the then-USFL in 2022 when the league reemerged. The team was also a member of the original USFL in 1984. They went on to win the inaugural USFL Championship, 24–22 over the Philadelphia Stars that year.
