Michigan Reports 1,054 New Coronavirus Cases, 11 More Deaths
Michigan is now 10th in the U.S. in reported COVID-19 deaths, according to the World Health Organization.
MICHIGAN — The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Michigan increased by more than 1,000 on Wednesday, according to state health officials.
Michigan reported that 1,054 new cases of the coronavirus were confirmed Wednesday morning, bringing the number of confirmed cases in Michigan to 124,687. Health officials also reported 11 new deaths attributed to the coronavirus, bringing the coronavirus death toll in Michigan to 6,762.
Michigan added nearly 900 new cases of the coronavirus on Tuesday. As of Saturday, the state had reported that more than 95,000 people in Michigan had recovered from the virus.

Michigan is 17th in the U.S. in reported coronavirus cases, according to the World Health Organization. Michigan is currently 10th in the nation in reported COVID-19 deaths. It was ranked ninth on Tuesday and has previously ranked as high as third in the nation.
