Michigan Reports 898 New Coronavirus Cases, 20 New Deaths Tuesday
The state has reported over 123,000 coronavirus cases and more than 6,700 deaths to date.
MICHIGAN — State health officials in Michigan reported nearly 900 new cases of the coronavirus on Tuesday, bringing the total number of reported cases in Michigan to more than 123,000.
Michigan added 898 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, increasing the statewide case total to 123,633. The state also reported 20 more deaths related to the respiratory illness, bringing the coronavirus death toll in Michigan to 6,751.
Michigan added more than 1,300 new cases of the coronavirus on Sunday and Monday, according to the state. As of Saturday, over 95,000 people in Michigan had recovered from the virus.

Michigan is ranked No. 17 in the U.S. in reported cases of the coronavirus, according to the World Health Organization. Michigan is ninth in the nation in coronavirus deaths.
