Michigan State Police Arrest 2 In 3-Year-Old Wayne County Murder
Authorities said detectives from the Michigan State Police 2nd District Special Investigation Section made the arrests Thursday morning.
WAYNE COUNTY, MI — Two people have been arrested in connection with the killing of Egypt Covington, a 27-year-old singer who was found shot and killed in her Van Buren Township home in June 2017, Michigan State Police said Thursday.
Authorities said detectives from the Michigan State Police 2nd District Special Investigation Section made the arrests Thursday morning. MSP said the investigation is ongoing but offered no additional information.
Covington was found dead in June 2017 inside her Van Buren Township home, according to reports about the case.
