More Rain, Thunderstorms In The Forecast This Week
More rain is on the way and with it comes more risk for flooding and now thunderstorms activity.
SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN — Temperatures are steadily climbing back up, but precipitation is still persisting across Southeastern Michigan as storm systems pass through.
There is a low chance of non-severe thunderstorms this Monday afternoon into the night as a cold front tracks through, according to the National Weather Service. This affects Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Lenawee, Monroe, St. Clair, Livingston, Lapeer, Shiawassee and Genesee counties.
Any thunderstorm will help enhance rainfall as they track east at 40 mph, forecasters said.

The strengthening east to southeast winds are expected Wednesday and they may persist into Thursday. Given the high levels of Lakes St Clair and Erie, this may result in flooding along the shorelines, the warning said.
There is chance of thunderstorms Wednesday night through Thursday evening as a low pressure system is forecast to lift across Lower
Michigan.
