More Thunderstorms Ahead For Detroit Area: NWS
Warm and muggy conditions will fuel multiple rounds of thunderstorms over the next few days in southeastern Michigan, forecasters said.
SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN — Warm and muggy conditions will fuel multiple rounds of thunderstorms over the next few days in southeastern Michigan, according to the National Weather Service.
The first round of storms will move through the area Wednesday afternoon between 2 and 6 p.m. when highs reach the lower 80s, the weather service said.
Areas south of Interstate 94 could see stronger storms with heavy downpours and winds reaching up to 60 miles per hour, the weather service said.

There will also be chances for storms Thursday and Friday across southeastern Michigan as highs reach the upper 80s with elevated humidity levels, the weather service said.
Forecasters expect drier conditions this weekend with highs around 90 degrees.

More showers and storms are possible next week with very warm temperatures, the weather service said.
