MSP: Agency Handled Over 100 Crashes In Metro Detroit In 24 Hours
Michigan State Police said the department handled more than 100 crashes in a 24-hour stretch Wednesday in the Metro Detroit region.
METRO DETROIT — Michigan State Police officials said the department handled more than 100 traffic crashes in the Metro Detroit region in the past 24 hours.
The exact number — 103, according to the department — was inflated due to the snowy weather in the area, but did not include simple slide-offs and other calls, officials said.
A very busy 24 hours for troopers in the district. They handled 103 traffic crashes and four impaired drivers. And this doesn’t include all the slide offs and other calls for services in our townships. Great job troops! pic.twitter.com/Lgrq2LQ441
