NAI Farbman Promotes Szymczak to EVP of Investment Property Sales

Bubniak remains on Farbman's executive leadership team and expands position with University of Michigan's real estate program

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (Oct. 3, 2024)—NAI Farbman, the brokerage arm of full-service commercial real estate company Farbman Group, announced today the promotion of Todd Szymczak to Executive Vice President of investment property sales and business development. Todd has been with Farbman since 2005.

“Todd has earned his position as Executive Vice President through hard work, commitment and a strong passion for commercial real estate during his career with Farbman,” said Andrew V. Farbman, CEO of Farbman Group. “We are thrilled with his elevated role as the head of our investment sales division and look forward to the great things he will accomplish for the division in the years ahead.”

In his elevated role, Szymczak is in charge of the day-to-day oversight of NAI Farbman’s investment sales division. He has developed a reputation for being a knowledgeable and trusted resource for owners looking for direction on their real estate holdings. Szymczak’s sales experience has included both distressed and stabilized properties across all asset types, including office, retail, multifamily, MHC, senior, industrial and hospitality.

In 2023, Bill Bubniak, an attorney, licensed real estate broker and 36-year veteran of NAI Farbman, was selected as an Associate Professor of Practice and Director of Real Estate Initiatives at University of Michigan’s Taubman College. Bubniak was also appointed Faculty Director at the Weiser Center for Real Estate at the Ross Business School. As he looks to expand his involvement with the prestigious university, he is transitioning into an advisory role at NAI Farbman, while remaining on the Farbman executive leadership board.

Bubniak remains committed to the Farbman organization that he has served faithfully for many decades, as well as the clients he has dutifully served over the years.
