New Coffee Shop Opening In Downtown Detroit This Spring
The new shop will pay homage to a Detroit radio station that once used the space.
DETROIT — A new coffee shop is opening in downtown Detroit sometime this spring.
A.M. Buzz will open at 600 W. Lafayette, inside the Cambria Hotel, which once housed Detroit’s WWJ AM Radio station.
The new cafe will offer fresh-brewed drip coffee, cappuccinos, lattes and a "Build Your Own Brekkie" breakfast sandwich option. There will also be grab-and-go salads and deli sandwiches.

Customers can place their orders in-store at self-serve kiosks or through the cafe's website. There will also be a walk-up window on Lafayette, near the corner of Third Street.
"By incorporating our love for radio and the buzz it creates, we are excited to provide a place for the local community and visitors of Detroit to grab a breakfast and a coffee," said A.M. Buzz co-owner Joseph Caradonna.
