Police Investigating Shooting Outside Detroit HS

No one was injured in the shooting, police said.

DETROIT — Police are looking to speak with a person in connection with a Detroit shooting.

The shooting happened at 8:26 p.m. Thursday when multiple shots were fired in the parking lot of Martin Luther King High School, according to police.

Police said several teenagers were in the parking lot at the time of the shooting, though no one was injured.

Police are looking to speak to a person of interest who they believe was in the area at the time of the shooting. A $1,000 reward is being offered for information.

Police asked anyone with information about the incident or who recognizes the person of interest to call DPD's 7th Precinct at 313-596-5740, CrimeStoppers at 1-800-Speak Up, or DetroitRewards.tv.
