Prominent Detroit TV Reporter Placed On Leave Amid Police Investigation: Report
No charges have been filed as the investigation continues, according to reports.
DETROIT — A prominent Detroit TV reporter has been placed on leave after police searched his Beverly Hills home last week, according to local reports.
WDIV-TV reporter and anchor Hank Winchester was placed on administrative leave after station officials learned of the investigation, according to the news station.
Police did not say why Winchester's home was searched, but Fox 2 Detroit reported it stemmed from an incident in which he made sexual advances toward a man during a massage.

Winchester's attorney, Todd Flood, released a statement regarding the incident:
"Hank has spent decades bringing truth to our community and fighting for our citizens," Flood said. "Because he holds a high-profile position in our community, that can at times generate false accusations. This investigation will end where it began - nowhere."

No charges have been filed. The investigation is still ongoing.
Winchester is best known for his "Help Me Hank" segments on WDIV, where he has been since 2001, according to his biography on the station's website.
Winchester also co-hosts “The Morning After” podcast with Kelly Stafford, who is married to LA Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford.
