Snow Is Back In The Metro Detroit Forecast

Oh Michigan, we thought we had a good thing going this spring.

METRO DETROIT, MI — Well, Michigan has done it again. Seventy-degree days to start the week and now snow is back in the forecast for the weekend. According to the National Weather Service, overnight showers -- including snow -- are possible.

Temperatures will drop to the 60s, then 50s, finally dipping into the 30s Saturday night.

Thursday
A chance of showers, mainly after 5pm. Cloudy, with a high near 61. East wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Thursday night
Rain. Low around 46. East southeast wind 6 to 9 mph becoming north northeast after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Friday
Rain, mainly before 11am. High near 62. Breezy, with a north wind 14 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Friday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 37. Breezy, with a west northwest wind around 18 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.

Saturday
A chance of rain after 2pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 53. Northwest wind 7 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Saturday Night
Rain, possibly mixed with snow, mainly after 8pm. Low around 35. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

Sunday
Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 50.
