DETROIT — A Spirit Airlines plane at Detroit Metro Airport was evacuated Thursday morning due to a bomb threat, according to local reports.

Officials said passengers were awaiting takeoff at 7 a.m. when the threat was made, reports said.

The passengers were ordered off the plane and taken to Evans Terminal, as officials investigate the incident, reports said.
