Thunderstorm System May Bring 60 MPH Winds, Hail: NWS
A storm is moving through Southeastern Michigan with the possible threats of high winds and one inch hail, forecasters say.
SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN — Thunderstorms are in the forecast Wednesday as a low pressure system pulls a cold front across southern Michigan. The National Weather Service predicts that some storms may become strong to severe while tracking northwest to southeast at 35 mph. The main threats with any severe storms that develop will be damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph and hail up to one inch.
The storm warning impacts Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Lenawee, Monroe, Lapeer, Livingston, St. Clair, Washtenaw, Shiawassee, Genesee, Sanilac, Tuscola, Saginaw, Bay, Huron and Midland counties.
