Thunderstorm Warning Issued In Michigan Throughout Weekend

SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN — You’ll want to have an umbrella handy this weekend as the forecast shows more showers and thunderstorms.

Early Friday morning showers brought lightning strikes around the southeastern Michigan area, the National Weather Service said, and they have issued a hazardous weather outlook for thunderstorms that are possible Saturday into Sunday. Heavy rainfall is the primary threat for this storm system, they said.
