Vance To Speak At Detroit's Eastern Market Tuesday

DETROIT — Republican vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance will speak at Eastern Market in downtown Detroit on Tuesday, according to campaign officials.

During the visit, the Ohio senator will speak about the auto industry, according to campaign officials.

"Michigan prides itself on being the auto capital of the world, and it’s the backbone of Michigan’s economy," campaign officials said in a statement.

Door open at noon and Vance is expected to speak at 2 p.m. Anyone who wants to attend can register here.

Vance was in the Detroit area last week when he spoke at Visioneering in Auburn Hills.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is also scheduled to speak in Detroit this week.

Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris was in Michigan last Friday when she made campaign stops in Flint and Redford.
